At our core, ONE SIX EIGHT LONDON is a tight-knit team — small, but seamlessly in sync. Our co-founders, a husband-and-wife duo, manage the day-to-day operations with a unique blend of financial acumen and impeccable design sense.

Around them, a dedicated group of experts bring their own sparkle to the business — from web design and analytics to SEO and product development. Add a golden retriever for cuddles and morale, and you've got a workplace as joyful as it is productive.

Where It All Began

Like many meaningful ventures, our story started with a moment of reflection. A career that no longer brought joy sparked a desire for something more fulfilling — a new direction, a stable future for a growing family.

The result? A humble beginning in the back bedroom of a townhouse, where beautiful homewares were curated for online sale.

Of course, building a brand is rarely simple. It’s a journey of trial and triumph, of trade shows, research, and the search for the perfect creative spark.  The turning point came through a spark of inspiration - an encounter with a established clock designer from London.   Moved by the elegance of traditional craftsmanship, the founders took a leap of faith - and just like that, clocks became our calling. ONE SIX EIGHT LONDON was born.

One Six Eight London - Why the Name?

We’re often asked: why “ONE SIX EIGHT LONDON”? The answer is simple yet meaningful.

One Six Eight represents the total number of hours in a week — a nod to our beginnings as a clock brand and a gentle reminder that time is precious.

And while we’re proudly Australian, our design roots trace back to London, where our designer is based. Despite the distance and time zones, we work in harmony — a family, united by creativity and purpose.

Growing with Grace

From clocks, we expanded into jewellery boxes — a natural progression for a team that lives and breathes style. Each product was designed with the same thoughtful care and curated into collections that reflect our signature ONE SIX EIGHT fingerprint — a harmonious blend of style, function, and accessible luxury.

As the product range grew, so did the business. The once-cramped bedroom gave way to a bustling warehouse. We remember the day we collected the keys — “We’ll never fill this space,” we said.

We were wrong. Soon the shelves were stacked, a forklift was acquired, the dog bed found a new corner, and a fully-fledged company space came to life.

From there, we embraced new categories — photo frames, mirrors, candlesticks — each crafted to reflect our brand’s timeless elegance.

And then came ceramics — a dream two years in the making. Determined to create the best vases on the market, we partnered with artisan makers whose craftsmanship aligned with our vision. The result? A collection beloved by our customers and proudly displayed in homes across Australia.
